Questions before you start
01 Can I try it for free?
Yes. Surveying your rooms is free. You pay when you want Layo to work out the layout.
02 Which floors does Layo plan?
Straight plank, herringbone, double herringbone, chevron 45° and 60°, and basket weave, in solid wood, engineered board or laminate. Tiles are next.
03 My walls aren't straight. Does that matter?
No. Measure each wall and the diagonals, and Layo works with the real shape. It flags corners that don't add up before you cut.
04 Can I plan several rooms in one project?
Yes. Rooms, doorways and obstacles are planned as one floor, with one material list.
05 How exact is the material count?
It comes from the planned layout, piece by piece, not from area plus a waste percentage.
06 Does it follow the fitting instructions?
Yes. Enter the wall gap, shortest end piece and joint stagger from the pack, and every layout keeps to them.
07 Does it count underlay and skirting?
Yes. Add the underlay and skirting you use, and they go on the same material list, by the roll, pack or piece.
08 Will it show me how to cut each piece?
Yes. Every cut piece has its own drawing with the measurements, the edge to measure from and which face to mark.
09 What do I get with the DIY package?
One project with unlimited changes, every screen, the cut sheet PDF, a printable plan and the project file.
10 Can I cancel the Professionals plan?
Yes. It is billed monthly and you can cancel at any time.
11 Can I use it on site?
Yes. Install mode shows each row and piece in the order you lay them.
